Cutest Family Ever! (even Duncan!)

I had the pleasure of photographing some great friends of mine on a beautiful fall day. The kids, as always were exceptionally photogenic, and even Duncan and Leslie got in on some of the shots!

Tracy and Kevin

Tracy and Kevin had their wedding at an adorable heritage church in Chilliwack, and then we headed to Minter Gardens for photos and a terrific reception!

2 Babies!

It's always fun to run into past brides and see what they've been up, but it was sure a treat to run into 2 past brides, who happen to have married brothers AND both be pregnant with boys!! It was so much fun to hang out in the studio with the 4 of these guys, and Ashley and Courtney were so incredibly cute! I'm so excited to meet the 2 new additions in the next few months!

Kylee and Dom

Kylee and Dom were married in the most beautiful surrounding, with a hilarious group of friends and family around them. I had such a blast photographing these guys at the Mission Abby and Old Clayburn Candy store. All in all, it was a great wedding, and the rain held off long enough to let them have their ceremony outside. Congratulations to the awesome couple!

Meet Amelia

I had the pleasure of meeting Kelly's baby Amelia for some photos, just a few days after birth. She was so beautiful and a pleasure to photograph. Congratulations Kelly!!

Renaissance Festival Fort Langley

The BC Renaissance Festival in Fort Langley was sooooo much fun! We spent the day watching jousting and other performances, as well as checked out the shopping! I decided that since I was shooting just for fun I would shoot FILM!! the colour photos were all cross processed Kodak E100VS, and then I also shot a role of black and white.

The boys volunteered to learn a thing or two about sword fighting, it was pretty fun to watch!

This guy was hilarious! For a coin, he would, dramatically, insult anyone of your choice!

The beautiful Crystal!

Michelle and Kevin

I have been really lucky to work with some wonderful couples this year, however there was something entirely different and special about Michelle and Kevin's wedding. It was the first time this year that I got a chance to play two role, photographer and guest. It was an amazing day, with perfect weather, great family and friends and a hilarious wedding party that was up for anything. Michelle was absolutely GLOWING the whole day, and it was such a joy to watch the two of them get married after so many years. I know they will have a such a terrific life together!

Shelley and Steve

Steve and Shelly were married in a gorgeous yard her parents had worked so hard to landscape. The ceremony was beautiful and after, we got a chance to head to Mill Lake for a few photos of just the couple. The whole day was simply lovely! Congratulations you two!

Avril and Neil

Avril and Neil were married in Mission on August 9th. They day was fantastic despite the rainy August weather we experienced. Everyone was so happy, with wonderful senses of humour!

The girls got ready at the bride's sister's house, with the bride's sister doing the gorgeous hair and makeup for the group.
Avril and Neil did their photos before the church ceremony, so although Neil didn't see his bride for the first time at the church, we still did a little reveal at the Mission Abby which was pretty special, Neil was so excited to see her all dressed up!

The service was so sweet, with both the groom's Mom and sister standing up to read a verse to the new couple.
They are both such happy people, which made my job pretty great!

They were also pretty awesome dancers!
Did I mention the VERY competitive bouquet toss?? Too funny!

Thanks so much for including me in your day, and Congratulations!!

Sabrina and Ben

Ben and Sabrina were married at the Chilliwack Golf and Country Club, surrounded by amazing people and amazing scenery. I know that there are a lot of pictures in this post, but believe me, I had a hard time picking less than 20 images for the blog! I had the pleasure of spending the entire day with the couple and their family and friends, which is so great because by the time I was taking the photos of just Sabrina and Ben we were so comfortable, which shows in the relaxed portraits. I love being there all day because it means that every aspect of the day was documented. The salon with the girls in the morning, right till Ben threw Sabrina's garter. Thank you so much you two, you were wonderful to work with!

I love this shot of the flower detail, they were such unique and elegant arrangements.

Sabrina was so calm and relaxed, and more focused on the people around her, rather than herself. She made sure she got Mom dressed before she worried about herself!

With the help of Mom and her older sister (maid of honour) Sabrina got dressed in the most amazing gown. Stunning!

The ceremony was outside and the weather was perfect!
Finally a chance to just sit and relax! These tow made my job pretty easy!

The boys showed up in some cool hats for photos!

The whole party!

I love how naturally beautiful Sabrina is, she literally glowed the whole day!

They had their first dance to the classic "It had to be You"

And then they partied!

Thanks again to Sabrina and Ben!
